Your details

Email or mobile — at least one is required.

Country

Saudi Arabia

Commonly aligned with NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC) and, for financial institutions, the SAMA Cybersecurity Framework — one ISMS can provide much of the evidence these require.

United Arab Emirates

Often mapped alongside UAE Information Assurance requirements and sector frameworks (for example Dubai’s information security regulations and health-sector standards).

What the engagement looks like

  1. 01

    Gap assessment and scope definition

ISO/IEC 27001 questions

Who issues the ISO/IEC 27001 certificate?+

An independent certification body accredited for ISO/IEC 27001. Preparation, training and advisory are deliberately kept separate from certification so the audit stays impartial.

Can our team be trained on ISO/IEC 27001?+

Yes — options include ISO 27001 Foundation, ISO 27001 Internal Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer. Public, virtual and in-house formats can be arranged; ask for current dates and fees.

We are still on the 2013 version — what now?+

The transition period to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 has ended, so certificates now need to be to the 2022 edition. A gap assessment against the updated Annex A controls is the usual starting point.

Does ISO 27001 replace NCA ECC or UAE IA compliance?+

No — they are separate obligations — but a well-built ISMS can supply much of the governance, risk assessment and control evidence they ask for, which reduces duplicated effort.
