NCEMA 7000 Business Continuity Standard
Issued by National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA)
Applies to: UAE federal and local government entities and organisations in critical sectors, as directed by NCEMA.
NCEMA 7000 is the UAE’s national business continuity management standard. It sets requirements for continuity governance, business impact analysis, strategies, plans, exercises and review.
It aligns closely with ISO 22301, so organisations often build one programme that satisfies both, and certify to ISO 22301 where an international certificate is useful.
General guidance, not legal advice. Always confirm scope and current requirements with the issuing authority.
